So Nice to Be Home

After being an alien in a strange land for the past 4 years, it is so nice to be back home.

My family and I moved back to Mt. Pleasant, Texas at the end of July, and, since that time, I have had more opportunity to surround myself with others of like mind than I ever found before. Today was one of those days.

This morning I attended a local Republican party breakfast in town. The special guest was Bill Priefert, owner/founder of Priefert Ranch Equipment. I recently found out where Mr. Priefert stood politically after attending a local Town Hall meeting regarding the current healthcare legislation. You can read about that meeting in my post, "Obamacare is Our Temptation in the Wilderness."

Today Mr. Priefert expanded on his picture painting...helping us all realize how the big picture is leading to "world communism." The end game is there and our leaders are seeking any and every opportunity to gain more and more pieces of the pie. Before long, we will be too far gone.

But I have hope. I have hope in the "moral majority" of America...people just like those who were attending this meeting today. We still outnumber the liberal fascists who are in control. We can still unite and preserve our nation.

This is the point of the Grizzly Groundswell and Temerity Magazine, both of which I am proud to say I am a part. This movement, which consists of writers, radio hosts and countless others around the United States, exists to unite Conservatives in thought, voice and image.

All across this nation, movements like ours here in Mt. Pleasant are springing up. Conservatives, whether Republican or Democrat or Independent, are standing up for their rights, their freedoms and their security. I find hope in them...I find hope in my home.

We must unite. We must start at home and move from there. We must stand together on the issues and use our collective voices to be heard. The Grizzly Groundswell and Temerity Magazine is dedicated to helping that happen.
