Below is a message from Erwin regarding yesterday's AMAZING election in Massachusetts. Let's keep the ball rolling all the way through November!

Yesterday, the people of Massachusetts, one of the most liberal states in the union, made a loud proclamation: “IT’S THE PEOPLE’S SEAT. IT’S THE PEOPLE’S GOVERNMENT. BIG GOVERNMENT NEED NOT APPLY!” This GOP win was the small stone of the avalanche that will crumble the heavy handedness of big government. A collective sigh of relief can be heard and felt across our nation.

But let’s not be lulled to sleep by a small victory. We have a lot of work to do. It is imperative that we redouble our effort and keep the momentum going. Every elected official who embraces growing the government at the expense of the public needs to be fired. Please stay diligent in your efforts. The words of Thomas Jefferson remind us that “the price of liberty is eternal vigilance.”

Here in East Texas, it is critical that we elect a strong, proven conservative for House District 3. Only a strong conservative can resist the same forces that have exploded the size of our federal government. As a conservative, I pledge to fight to reel in government and to protect our freedoms and our wallets.
